About me

In September 2016, Zhuohui ZENG obtained his B.Eng from Sun Yat-sen University. In July, 2021, Zhuohui Zeng graduated from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering. His supervisors are Prof. Xian (Sherry) Chen and Prof. Shengwang Du. Joephy’s research interest mainly focuses on martensitic materials, differential interference microscopy system, flexible thin film, experimental mechanics, nano-mechanics, energy conversion and funtional material synthesis， and he published over 10 SCI papers. In 2022, Dr. Zhuohui ZENG is a research assistant in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. After that, Dr. Zhuohui ZENG join Light Innovation Technology LTD, and now he is a Chief Application Scientist.

Dr. ZENG’s subsequent research has primarily centered on optical imaging technologies, encompassing Line Bessel beam imaging systems, differential interference microscopy system, confocal imaging systems, and other advaned optical characrterization methodologies.Additionally, he has been actively engaged in extracting and processing biological image features. Under his guidance, the microscopy systems developed have been implemented in more than twenty leading universities globally.
